Taranaki Cross Country

Yesterday we took an Auroa School team of runners to the Taranaki Cross Country Champs. The weather held off and was quite mild but we had a lot of mud! All students were motivated and eager to run:)

An amazing team effort from the boys 9 and under. Jordan, Koby, Blake and Quade won the team event for Auroa School!

Here is a selection of starting photos!

Big Day Out Maths

Today the senior school of 5 classes ventured to the hall for an exciting maths day. We versed each other in multiplication tables and Kahoot questions.

It's finally here! Room 5s Classroom!

The truck reversing the classroom in inch by inch.

Reinforcing the wheels as it moves into position.

Balancing the classroom over every bump.

Koby - Student of the Week Room 5

Koby went to the Mt Spa inter school cross country competition on Thursday to represent our school! Students run in their age groups except 7 and 8 year olds who all run together with the nine year olds. So the competition is extremely hard to get placed when you are up against the big guns. Anyway, Koby placed third! An amazing effort as he is only eight! Way to go mate! We are all so proud of you! This Wednesday Koby will be off to compete in the Taranaki competition! Go hard Koby!

Koby - Student of the Week!

Star student of the week - Aariya

Congratulations to Aariya who has received student of the week for taking pride in her school work! Well done to you Aariya for a fabulous week.

Auroa School Science Fair

Check out all the amazing displays and hard work in science by the students at Auroa School!

A lot of effort with great results team. You should be very proud of yourselves!
